Center for Nonprofit Resources

The Center for Nonprofit Resources is now located in the library of the main Shasta College campus. Oversight of the Center is provided by Shasta College’s Economic and Workforce Development Division.

The Center for Nonprofit Resources provides a resource library and the Foundation Center database for grant research. If you’re researching grants for your non-profit, this unique database is a great starting point. It includes 80,000 grant-making foundations and information on half a million grants. News and grant distribution charts are also available. Talk to the reference librarian about other possible resources.

New courses and activities targeting the nonprofit are regularly added. Please refer to the Pathways - Programs and Courses section on Shasta College’s Economic and Workforce Development web site for additional information: http://www3.shastacollege.edu/ewd/

Small Business Development Center

The Small Business Development Center offers additional targeted no-cost business consulting services for nonprofits for organizations located in the counties of Shasta, Trinity, Siskiyou, Lassen and Modoc. For information on consulting services please contact Keli Anthis, the Director of the SBDC, at 530-242-7630.
