Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center – Redding, CA
The McConnell Foundation is proud to support the Sierra Pacific Regional Cancer Center, a transformative investment in cancer care for patients and families throughout the North State.
Opening in Fall 2026, the new 40,000-square-foot center in Redding will bring comprehensive cancer care together under one roof. The center will provide patients with greater access to advanced treatment, specialized care, and supportive services closer to home.
For families across the region, this means fewer long trips for care and more support throughout the cancer journey. Patients will have access to services including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation therapy, precision oncology, genetic counseling, nutrition support, clinical trials, and cancer navigation.
The impact will extend well beyond Redding. Mercy’s regional cancer services serve patients across multiple counties, making the new center an important resource for communities throughout Northern California.
The McConnell Foundation’s contribution of a $1 million grant, along with generous contributions from foundations, businesses, organizations, and individuals, helped make this vision a reality. Together, these partners are investing in a stronger and more accessible healthcare system for the North State.
