College & Career Options
The McConnell Foundation has partnered with College and Career Options since 2021 to provide free programs and services to help students of all ages and their families make informed decisions about post high school educational opportunities
North State Together
North State Together was formed in 2016 with a grant from the Foundation to serve as a backbone organization for cradle to career efforts in all five counties. NST’s mission is to increase community vitality by increasing educational access and success in the North State through local solutions within a regional support framework.
Global Expeditions Program
This summer program allows high school and Shasta College students to take coursework while assisting with biological and ecological studies in international settings such as Honduras, South Africa, Indonesia, Fiji and more! The McConnell Foundation offers scholarships for students with financial need to participate in the expeditions.
