Community Input Meeting

 In Blog, Community Vitality

This week, The McConnell Foundation and K2 invited Community Input on a potential downtown project.  It was a larger-than-expected turnout, and we will be continuing to digest this input, but we want to share with initial results with you right away. First, here is the video of the event, with thanks to SCACtv and particularly Michael Flanagan for capturing it. We know not everyone could make it, so we want to be sure you have a shareable resource.

Second, 105 people took the real-time digital poll via Poll Everywhere and 22 people filled out the paper survey. 122 attendees shared their Hopes & Fears with us. All of these materials can be found in this dropbox folder, Here is a first glance at the live polling results:

Next steps: our application is due to the state in January. In June, we hope to learn if Redding is awarded the Affordable Housing Sustainable Communities Grant and Infill Infrastructure Grant.

We thank everyone who took time to participate!
