Sharing Downtown Updates with Lorenz Hotel Residents & Staff

 In Community Vitality

On November 6th, Program Officer for Community Vitality, Rachel Hatch shared Downtown project updates at the invitation of Jim Fennell, chair of the Resident’s Council at the Lorenz Hotel.

Per CCH (Christian Church Homes) which owns and manages the Lorenz, it is “a beautifully restored independent living community offering 59 apartments in Redding, California.  Built during 1901, The Lorenz is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is located in the heart of downtown. It now provides affordable housing for seniors ages 62 and above.”

Also joining the presentation was Steve Bade, Downtown Liaison for the City of Redding and Chuck Aukland, the City of Redding Director of Public Works.
