Shasta College Global Expedition Program

Shasta College’s Global Education Center coordinates the Global Expedition Program in conjunction with Operation Wallacea. The Global Expedition Program develops study abroad experiences and transferable, college-level courses that incorporate science and service learning while providing opportunities that are rich learning experiences and establish greater global awareness.

The Foundation is pleased to partner with the Shasta College Foundation in offering scholarships for students with financial need to participate in the expeditions. To date, the Global Expedition Program has participated in expeditions in Honduras, Indonesia, and South Africa.
